ABG appoints Commercial Excellence Director Owned Route-To-Market

We are excited to announce that from October 2022, Guenther Rauner, Managing Director of Amber Beverage Germany, has been promoted to the new role of Commercial Excellence Director Owned Route-To-Market (ORTM) and a Member of the Amber Beverage Group Executive Committee Team with an aim to overview our distribution companies.

Together with the national teams, he will lead the implementation of Excellent Distribution Standards in ABG’s newly acquired businesses and work on enriching ORTM brand portfolios: attracting new brand owners and creating wider and closer cooperation with the existing ones by enhancing synergies whenever possible. Guenther will be responsible for ABG’s global ORTM expansion – opening up new markets and new ORTM acquisitions in line with the ABG strategy.

During his time with ABG, Guenther has proven himself as a truly valuable asset not only for our expansion in Germany but for the whole ABG management team. He provides global vision and strategic perspectives around the beverage industry, which will be vitally important for the ABG growth and achieving synergies from working together within a global organisation.
