Rapidly growing spirits producer, distributor, logistics provider and retailer of beverages, Amber Beverage Group (ABG), announces the appointment of Roland van Bommel as the company’s new non-executive director. He will be joining the team of experienced beverage experts that are led by the ABG Supervisory Board’s Chairman Mark Garber.

Roland van Bommel is currently a non-executive director of Asahi Beverages Oceania, part of the Tokyo-based Asahi Group Holdings Ltd. In the past he held the position of Chairman of the Board of Managers of WhistlePig LLC, producer of super premium rye whisky, Chief Executive Officer for William Grant & Sons Ltd and Chief Executive of Maxxium Worldwide.

“I am very happy to be joining the ABG Board and to be working with such an outstanding and dynamic team. Amber Beverage Group is well positioned in a number of areas in the wine and spirits industry where I believe my experience can be helpful, as we set our sights on continued growth and expansion,” said Roland van Bommel, the company’s new non-executive director.
