Moskovskaya® Vodka celebrates the Soviet Space Programme and a world first achievement with boldly designed limited edition bottle – Out Of Space. The new product made by Amber Beverage Group will first appear in Italy, Spain and the Baltic States.
In 1959, exactly 60 years ago, Russian space pioneers launched the first ever spacecraft to escape Earth’s gravity. The craft called Luna reached the Moon, passed by it and captured images of the far side of the Moon, contributing vital information to the understanding of the universe.
“Amber Beverage is proud to announce the arrival of this limited edition of Moskovskaya which pays tribute to the pioneers of space travel. As pioneers of the vodka category we want to celebrate the efforts of human kind to be bold and reach for new heights. With this limited edition we want to showcase the Moskovskaya brand’s own journey in reaching for the stars, with a new bottle design and creative direction,” said Pepijn Janssens, the Chief Marketing Officer of Amber Beverage Group.
Limited edition Out Of Space treasures the legendary liquid of Moskovskaya whose recipe hasn’t changed over 80 years. The flavour starts with a distinct floral sweetness and hints of green grass. This is balanced with aromatic black pepper, fresh cut fennel and citrus. Followed by warming notes of fresh baked bread. For the majority of European markets, it is produced at 38% ABV and filled in 700ml bottles.
The Amber Beverage Group-owned Moskovskaya® Vodka brand is now available in over 65 markets worldwide, with a strong and recognised following in the key strategic markets of Italy, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Lebanon, the Baltics and the UK. The brand has received numerous awards and accolades from experts in worldwide competitions since it received its first Gold medal in 1954 at the International Trade Fair in Bern.
