Rapidly growing Amber Beverage Group (ABG) has appointed experienced beverage industry virtuoso Pepijn Janssens as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Janssens, who previously held a position in Pernod Ricard as Global Commercial Director of Our/Vodka, will be utilising his skills in driving value growth for brands across ABGs’ portfolio. This includes such brands as Moskovskaya Vodka®, Rooster Rojo® Tequila, Riga Black Balsam®, Cross Keys Gin®, the low-alcohol sparkling beverage Cosmopolitan Diva® among others.
“In 2019 we will see an increasing need to focus on driving our international businesses and brands. Innovation will become a core driver of our business and global marketing will be an important focus point,” said Seymour Ferreira, Amber Beverage Group CEO. “Therefore, having Pepijn Janssens on our Executive Board will bring extra big ideas, bold solutions and thoughtful strategies,” admitted Ferreira.
In the past decade Janssens has been living in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia leading commercial activities in more than 70 markets over 5 continents with +500 different FMCG brands. His latest experience was with Pernod Ricard where he headed the commercial export expansion of Our/Vodka. “The chance to be part of the executive team that will set strategy for AGB to become a €1bn company truly excited the ambitious entrepreneur in me,” said the newly appointed CMO, Pepijn Janssens.
